Jo

Jo is one of our most experienced stylists having worked in hairdressing for almost twenty years. Recognising the depth of expertise that she has built up as well as her tremendous commitment to education, she is a trainer and assessor for our trainees, but she also works in the Bread Street salon tending the tresses of her many loyal clients.

“I love all aspects of my job, there is the creative side, the personal and emotional side, the technical side – there is a real sense of responsibility, the client’s hair is in our hands, and we’ve got to create the best possible style for the client every single time. No excuses.”

When she’s not working, Jo is the most fantastic mum and looks after her two boys (well, three boys, if also you count her husband).

“I want my clients to feel special and not taken for granted and make sure we are always on the same page. To me, that’s the crucial step from which everything else is built on.”

Q: My favourite season is….

A: Winter, I love to be warm and cosy curtains drawn and snuggled on the couch!

Q: Alcoholic drink most likely to make you gag

A: Pernod and black, such a bad expericence with that drink!

(Hmmmm….i’m starting to wonder if Jo maybe had a bit of a goth phase ??)

Q: Do you have a hidden talent

A: I can do the splits

Q: Gin or Jenga ?

A: Gin all the way

Q: Toy Story or Finding Nemo ?

A: cant possibly choose love both of them!

Q: What is your favourite biscuit ?

A: anything from fox`s
