Marco started his career at age of 16. His strong passion for the hair industry led him to become a professional hairstylist and educator for an international brand, as well as running two salons in Florence for over 10 years.

Marco moved to Edinburgh in 2018 and joined the Medusa team in Hanover in August 2020, bringing his Italian flair and passion to the new town. A colour specialist Marco has his own unique technique - the Shatush: a colouring technique which includes freehand painting of colour and no foils, making each Shatush completely bespoke to each client. Marco brings a great buzz to the salon with his vibrant style and his beautiful styling.

Q: What is the best part of the week?
A: The best part of the week is definitely the weekend! I love hanging out with my kids and having some family time.

Q: If you weren’t a hairdresser, what would you be?
A: I think I would definitely be a florist, it would still allow me to express my creative side.

Q: Do you have a hidden talent?
A: If I do have a hidden talent, I still can’t find it
