Message from Colin

2020 will be remembered for the highs and lows we have all experienced but at Medusa we are focusing on the positives, and we have a lot to celebrate going into 2021. Firstly, we have finalised for Salon Group of the Year at the Fellowship for British Hairdressing! Salons from across the country enter, and only three finalise so it is a huge honour to be recognised as one of the top three salon groups in the country, and the only one from Scotland. We previously won this award in 2018 so let’s hope history repeats itself this year…..

Our Hanover Street salon, the newest addition to the Medusa group has also just finalised for not one but FIVE awards at the Scottish Hair & Beauty Awards! Paul and his team secured their rightful places in Best Colourist, Best Female Stylist, Best Male Stylist, Best Salon Design and Best Hair Salon! I’m so proud of them and truly believe they deserve to clean up on the night. Of course I might be a little biased….

A few months back we also received the good news that we had finalised for Business Director of the Year. Yes, yours truly has been shortlisted with five other business owners at the British Hairdressing Business Awards. This is a tough competition and one I would really like to win. A Business Director is only as strong as the team behind him, and without my Medusa family I wouldn’t be achieving my dreams.

So, I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved at Medusa and to you, our clients, who allow us all to reach our goals. We appreciate you, and look forward to spending more time with you in 2021. Have a safe and healthy holiday.
